Grey Ox Metal​ Made with Passion As a child Karissa grew up surrounded by traditional hands on techniques, such as sewing, woodworking, metal work and so much more! By the age of 12, after dabbling in many of these arts, Karissa started experimenting on her own by creating wire wrapped jewelry. She quite enjoyed working with her hands, creating many different artsy things. When graduating from high school she had two choices in her mind for a career path…Jewelry Design at George Brown College OR Hairstyling at Marvel Beauty School. Karissa chose Hairstyling and had a very successful 23 year career in Toronto, Vancouver and finally settling back in her hometown Lucknow, Ontario. Always keeping jewelry and sewing as her artistic outlet, Karissa decided it was time for change. As of August 2018 Karissa retired from Hairstyling and began to pursue her life long passion of Jewelry Design. Karissa finds herself most days in her bright and airy shop working with her hands, whether it be creating beautiful timeless jewelry, sewing, sketching or simply dreaming up her next creation.
